Hi,
I just tried to open my SRC premium (dongle) and I got a message... "No USB Stick Found" ...along with another message that said... " File or directory \2706 is corrupt and unreadable. Please run the Chkdsk utility.
I don't know where the chkdsk utility is and is that what is going to fix this?
Please help.
Thank you, Deb Higgins

WOW after 72 hours of "no dongle found" and LOTS of tech support. and a scary recommendation to "wipe my hard drive and start over" Kevin Green has saved the day. THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH Kevin for soothing my jangled nerves and finding the solution. Let's hold the vision it will continue and I promise to NEVER update my computer software again with MUCH gratitude, Cindy

My Windows 7 ACER computer crashed last year when I allowed the Windows Automatic updates to install themselves, now I set my computers to "Check for Updates but let me choose whether to download and install them".
MicroSoft Windows Updates set to "Install Updates Automatically" can cause problems which can be difficult to trace and correct.
Whenever I perform any MicroSoft Windows updates it is often best to allow only one at a time, then reboot and test to see if everything is working as it should, then proceed to the next one in numerical order.
Others feel if your computer is working perfectly fine now to leave out any updates for the time being.
This is a personal decision.
Best hopes, Kevin
