It's a cocktail party and you're all invited.
What follows are the directions to make your own cocktails, upload them to the forum from your dongle (or hard drive) to SHARE. Or, go to the forum and copy someone else's cocktail and download it to your computer/dongle. These instructions will cover downloading and uploading cocktails for all versions of the SRC4U software. This is written with the novice in mind. Those of you who are experts at this can take what you need and leave the rest.
First, create your cocktail in Word (or any text file program) and save. You can also create your cocktail within the Correction Box in your SRC program, then copy and paste into a Word doc, or text file. (Directions for "copy and paste" are at the bottom of this post in blue.)
--- On FULL and PREMIUM: Open your SRC software and type anything in the Name box to enable the "Save as Cocktail" button. Then paste the line-by-line cocktail into the "Correction Box", click on "Save as Cocktail" and give it a name.
Or, if you have downloaded the .src file from the forum website it should automatically be added to your Cocktails folder, on both your hard drive and on your dongle. If it does not go into your Cocktails folder do this:
--- Open "My Computer" on your desktop, open the "C Drive", open "Program Files (x86)" (if you do not have this folder, open the "Program Files" folder), open the folder for "SRC4U-Premium" (or -Full), then open the "Cocktails" folder and paste the file in here.
--- Now add it to your dongle - yes you have to add it to your dongle and vice versa. Instead of the C Drive open the "Removable Disk (F:)", then open "SRC4U-Premium", the the Cocktails folder.
---- On MEDIUM and LITE software: You will have to copy and paste the entire cocktail, into the Correction Box each time you want to run any cocktails.
Or, just type in the name you gave the cocktail - your own "higher self" will know everything in that cocktail. As your list of cocktails grows you may need to refresh your memory, just review your cocktails from time to time. Remember, you can load as many items, or cocktails, as you like into the Correction Box for any session. If you have many items in your Correction Box you can copy it all and save it as a new cocktail.
---- MEDIUM & LITE -- NOTE: When you want to save a cocktail that someone posts to the forum, do not download the file name to your computer if it is an .src file as you cannot open this file type with your version of the software. Instead, copy and paste the entire line-by-line cocktail and save it in Word or Notepad, etc. If there is a .doc or .txt file you can actually download this to your computer by clicking on the file name.
If you want to change the file name of the file when you save it to your computer, mouse over the name of the file and it will be highlighted, RIGHT click on it and then choose RENAME from your options and type the new name being careful to give it the same file extension. Use any name that has meaning to you when you are saving...

NOTES ON DOWNLOADING TO THE FORUM
FULL and PREMIUM Users:
When downloading a cocktail to the forum be sure to include the entire line-by-line cocktail in your text so that those with LITE and MEDIUM SRC software can take advantage of the cocktails. These users do not have the "Load a Cocktail" or "Save a Cocktail" functions so they must copy and paste the entire cocktsil and paste it into their Correction Box.
To paste any file to your forum post just go to the top-left of the post page, in between the Subject line and the Message Icon line is the Attachment line. Go to the right and click on the Browse button, find the file on your computer and click on it and it will automatically populate the window for your attachment. It's like Magic!
LITE and MEDIUM Users:
When downloading a cocktail to the forum for sharing you can only paste the line-by-line cocktail into your post as you cannot save it in the format that the Full and Premium versions use., However, you may also want to save it to your post as a Word doc or text file, etc.

SHARING is a big part of the SRC community. We are all here for the same reason - we want to help people! And what can be nicer than to have something we contribute to the forum be used in ways that are helpful to someone else! the neat things about the cocktails is that we can use the entire cocktail, or part of it, or we can add to it to create a more custom cocktail. WOW! Is that powerful or what? And YOU can be a gigantic part of that by sharing. So Please, Please, Please... Share your Magic with the forum group!
Don't be afraid that something will go wrong. Remember there is no wrong way -- your intention says it all for you. It is just pure, pure ,pure good intention!

How to copy and paste:
1.) COPY: Highlight the line(s) of text you want to copy by placing your mouse either at the beginning or at the end of the text, click and hold the LEFT mouse button down while you drag the mouse across the text until all the text you want to copy is highlighted. (Play with this. Go up. Go down. Go across and highlight stuff. As long as the file is already saved you can't do any harm.) Now lift your finger off the mouse. While the text is highlighted place your mouse inside the highlighted area and RIGHT click one time, but don't move the mouse. A menu will pop up with options. Look for "Copy". Place your mouse over the word "Copy" and LEFT click once. Presto! Your text is copied.
2.) PASTE: Now place your mouse wherever you want to "paste" this text and RIGHT click again. Now pick "Paste" from the pop up menu and LEFT click. Presto! There it is. (The neat thing is that this text that you have copied will remain available to paste even if you go to another document, or to your email, etc. You can even copy something off a web page and paste it into something on your computer, like a Word document! The text will remain available for an indefinite time period, or until you over-write it with other copy, or turn your computer off.)
Hope this helps you out!
Love and Light!
