Grand Master David is the CEO and President of SRC4YOU, LLC. I listened to, recorded and made a mp3 file of this informative Conference Call in which, among other things, GMD mentioned the synergy of the SRC software and Qi Gong postures. So, rather than tie up the phone for over an hour to re-listen to the call, I can now simply listen to it on my computer or dvd/cd player. On the recordings, GMD mentions the synergy of the SRC software and Qi Gong postures. This synergy implies that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts as the software and postures complement, supplement and reinforce each other. As you probably know, the basic postures may be viewed as 16 free youtube video segments [search youtube.com for Shun Shen Tao Qigong 24 Postures 1 of 16, etc.]. BTW, even if one purchases the dvd, there is an advantage to accessing the youtube videos to read the informative viewer comments and replies by GMD. For instance, I found the following comment from youtube segment # 1 to be relevant to some family members who have hypertension:

Thank you for great comment. Heart Postures 1 and 2 help with high blood pressure. But, just doing Qi gong in general help most any condition. To help the high blood pressure try Heart Posture 1 for 3 to 5 times a day for a week. Then after that you can start to reduce the number of times a day done each week until you are just doing the Heart 1 Posture once a day. Take Care.

I received a voice mail from a forum member who was not able to play the cd I sent her on her cd. I was puzzled by this as I checked that all cds played before I sent them out to make sure they played on my dvd player and my computer, but I never checked it on a cd player per se. Now, the mp3 files burned to the cd were created on my mac. So, I checked one of the cds that I have been using at home to see if it played on my dvd player, and it did, and it also played on my computer. However, it did not play on my run-of-the-mill cd either. Go figure – this is beyond my paygrade. So, please play the sent cd on a dvd player or on your computer.

You probably burned it as a "data cd" instead of an "audio cd". A PC computer should be able to play it and a DVD player too, but not a normal CD player as the format is not compatible.

Yes GMD, that is precisely what I unknowingly did. This is because, rather than use itunes, which offers both options, and which would have necessitated burning 2 cds as each of the mp3 files is about one hour long and both cannot fit on a single cd, I chose another way of burning the 2 mp3 files to a cd. What I did instead was to put the 2 files on the mac desktop and copy and burn them to a blank cd, for which the mac does not offer the 2 options you mentioned, or any options for that matter. In retrospect I now realize that in proceeding this way data files are burned.

So, to those forum members to whom I have sent the data cd who would like to be able to play the mp3 files on a cd player, I would be pleased to send 2 cds, burned using itunes, one for each recording. On the other hand, if you are sufficiently computer savvy, you could copy the 2 mp3 files already sent to you on the data cd and place them in itunes [or whatever you use in the pc world] and then burn the cds from the itunes playlist. For future requests for the recordings, such as one I received yesterday, I will send 2 audio cds capable of playing on a regular cd player [as well as on a dvd player and computer].

Thanks again GMD for the clarification, as I now know more about what the mac does when it burns a cd outside of using itunes.

That is ok, as that is one reason why the demo lasts for two weeks only.
