This serves as an update on the situation with the weather related power outage affecting a vast portion of the area, including where the SRC4U server resides.
While power has been restored to many, some estimates indicate that a quarter of a million people continue to be without power -- some since Wednesday. Of them, many have no other source for heat at a time when night-time temperatures are in the low 30's.
High winds continue to pummel the area, making desperately cold wintry conditions for those electrical crews, drawn from four surrounding states, who are working to restore power.
This natural weather related phenomena is completely beyond our direct control, and we apologize for any inconvenience it has caused you, one of our valued customers. When power has been restored, we will once again be able to provide you with your service.
In the meantime, please realize that this power outage affects all of our customers, and not just you. Please refrain from contacting our Tech Support personnel and other SRC4U Team members with phone calls, emails and Tech Support requests. Flooding them with requests, will likely only compound the issue at hand.
