Sifu,
I have the same message and I've gone thru all the USB ports and still have that error message. I am also on a MAC with partitioned PC side, XP pro and etc. The dongle worked well on a straight PC(another computer).

I had a new error this morning.....You ask for it- error 13. then it says Dongle not found..... I have premium in my PC side of my Mac- all working great until this morning. sharon IOPTICS

I removed the dongle and then started again- I was able to open up my program but now the Dongle will only let me open up one session- when I attempted to open up a second one "application limit is full! BTW- When I left yesterday I was using 8 sessions so it seems to be remembering that!

BTW- When I left yesterday I was using 8 sessions so it seems to be remembering that! Open the "SRC4U" folder on the dongle and delete all "Temp" files. Temp1 Temp2 Temp3 Temp4 Temp5 Temp6 Temp7 Temp8 Temp9 Temp10 If you need help just let me know.

We have the Full SRC version and have been using it successfully for for several weeks.
We just closed down a session that was finished.
We are now getting an error message that this is a trial.... please send the rego #A512-A7C1-3 and we cannot open the software.
There are no 'temp' files in the folder.

.... in addition, we have rebooted. There are no demo versions on the computer and, I clicked on the "install license" and entered bogus stuff and message was "License fine installed." but still will not open. Tried moving dongle to another port - did not work.

Many thanks to Ralf and Rae for your team effort in problem solving my new computer issues.
Please note. . . . if you are buying a new computer. . . . it may be best to have one "Built" by a knowledgeable "geek". . . . . my HP is a CHALLENGE. . .and I followed all the "specs" suggested. . . .
I am hoping all the time and effort Ralf did with it will work. . . if not, back in the box. . . .and ship it OUT. . . .
dis install norton viral software BEFORE doing anything else. . ..

I am running the Premium, have 9 sessions going and when attempting to open #10 get this error message: "SRC4U - Dongle Check ..... Application Limit Reached"
I have never had this message before and have always been able to run 10 sessions simultaneously.
